1.1. Project Requirements
- Development of an application/system software
- Implementation of relevant algorithms, theories and concepts
- Following analysis, design, implementation and testing phases
- Group work with at most three members
- Using appropriate language technologies
- Writing own program modules rather than relying on predefined APIs or Plugins
2.1. Proposal Submission and Presentation
- Submit and present project proposal on 3rd to 4th week of seventh semester
2.2. Mid-Term
- Submit progress report on 10th to 11th week of seventh semester
- Defend midterm progress
2.3. Final Submission
- Submit and defend during last week of seventh semester
- Final defense includes viva voice and demonstration
- Conducted by evaluation committee with external from university
- Submit final report 10 days before defense
- Make report available to external examiner a week before presentation
3.1. Supervisor Requirements and Roles
- Supervisor should be regular faculty of campus/college
- Provide appropriate guidance throughout the project
- Supervise at most three groups per section
- Rigorously supervise, monitor, feedback and evaluate project groups
4.1. Evaluation Phases
- Proposal Defense - 10% (2 Head + 6 Supervisor + 2 Internal)
- Midterm - 20% (3 Head + 14 Supervisor + 3 Internal)
- Final Defense - 70% (5 Head + 40 Supervisor + 5 Internal + 20 External)

5.1. HOD/Coordinator Responsibilities
- Coordinate with supervisor, internal, external examiner and students
- Monitor project progress with supervisors
- Arrange proposal defense, midterm and final defense
- Participate and evaluate all defense phases
5.2. Project Supervisor Responsibilities
- Supervise students' project throughout semester
- Rigorously feedback and guide students
- Participate and evaluate all defense phases
- Monitor progress of projects under supervision
5.3. Internal Examiner Responsibilities
- Evaluate students' project during different phases
- Participate and evaluate all defense phases
5.4. External Examiner Responsibilities
- Evaluate students' project during final defense
- Participate and evaluate viva voce and demonstration
