2.1. Introduction
- What design choices did you have along the way, and why did you make the choices you made?
- What was the most difficult part of the project? Why was it difficult? How did you overcome the difficulties?
- Did you discover anything novel? What did you learn?
- Set the scene and problem statement/specification. Provide the motivation for reading this report. Introduce the structure of report (what you will cover in which chapters).
2.2. Background
- What the reader needs to know in order to understand the rest of the report; background research and what else has been done in the field (include references where relevant)
- Related work (if any) and how the project relates to other work in this area
2.3. Analysis and Design
- How requirements are collected and feasibility analysis of the project
- High-level overview of the system design; differences between initial and final design, and reasons for changes made
- Description of which parts were implemented and which were not implemented, with reasons if interesting
2.4. Implementation and Testing
- Description of tools used in implementation and code details (key parts only); discussion of the most important and interesting aspects
- Test plan: how the program/system was verified (actual test results to be placed in the Appendix)
2.5. Conclusion, Evaluation and Further Work
- What have you achieved? Critical appraisal (evaluation) of own work and how the work could be taken further
